We blog a lot about industry trends, platform updates, and social media strategy, but I figured it was time to pull back the curtain a bit. The Elevated Social is more than a brand; it’s me, my story, my heart, and a whole lot of life behind the scenes. So here’s a little intro (or re-intro) if you’ve been following along.
I married my college sweetheart, Levi, nine years ago and we’ve been living our very best life together ever since complete with our two doodles, Bentley and Lainey, who bring equal parts joy and chaos to our home.
When we’re not working (or wrangling doodles), you’ll probably find us playing cards at our kitchen table, hitting a quick nine holes before dinner, cooking something delicious while a Spotify playlist runs in the background, or decorating our house for the next season before this one’s even over. We’re also always down to binge a good show, but let’s be real, we’re in our “trying to start a family” era, so the Netflix and chill part of that equation is not just a throwback… it’s a lifestyle. 😉
We love live music! It’s one of our favorite date nights and I’m convinced nothing beats a warm summer evening, good company, and a great show.
Now for the real talk: I was laid off in November. (Oof.) It was one of those moments that knocks the wind out of you. But instead of panicking (okay, I panicked a little), I decided to bet on myself and launch The Elevated Social. Scary? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.
My philosophy is simple: marketing should be fun and valuable. (Or as I like to say: have fun + make money.) Whether you’re a hair stylist, a fitness coach, or run an HVAC company, I believe marketing matters for your business. And no, your color palette does not have to include pink just because mine does.
I’m also a major bookworm…like read 107 books last year level. Fantasy is my genre of choice and I will scream about the ACOTAR series with anyone who will listen. (Seriously, DM me. Let’s talk about Rhysand.)
Levi and I also co-host a podcast called I Love You More, where we talk about marriage, faith, life, and sometimes, how Lainey ate an entire protein bar box when we weren’t looking.
